REFLECTION

My journey towards illustration and visual narrative was really challenging; to begin with, I struggled to get used to Adobe Illustrator. I have learnt to go beyond my experience and skill sets in visual thinking and creativity when narrating a grip-reading storyline to capture the audience's interest by getting the necessary coaching and support from peers and lecturers. Getting a sense of the character design process was a fascinating experience. Utilizing my analysis of my observations in my work gives me confidence in the relevancy of the materials used and the essential aspects to create the ambiance or mood I want to transmit to the audience. Observation may provide crucial information for the creative process.
