INSTRUCTIONS

Exercise 1 :-

In order to complete our assignment, we had to create a brand-new Premiere Pro project and download the media files from Google Drive. After bringing these materials into Premiere Pro, it was our responsibility to arrange the clips on the timeline in a logical order with smooth transitions. It was necessary for us to create a brand-new directory on our devices after finishing this task so that we could export the finished video there.

At first, I was a little lost trying to navigate my way around Adobe Premiere due to its confusing layout and lack of instructions, but with help form Mr. Martin I was able to find my way around and import the video clips onto the timeline.

Exercise 2 :-

The second task requires us to collect a number of videos and arrange them in a particular order, much like the first. It is our responsibility to choose the proper order this time around, unlike the previous exercise where the prescribed sequence was given to us.

The process was exactly same as the first time but instead of being confused, I was able to comfortably import my video clips and get my footing with Adobe Premiere

Exercise 3:

We had to demonstrate and practice our learning in framing by shooting each other in the framing shots below:
  • Low angle Wide shot
  • Frontal MCU (soft background)
  • Frontal MS (soft background)
  • Extreme Close-Up shot
  • Side angle MS (soft background)
  • ¾ angling MCU shot (with blurry/soft foreground)
  • Close-Up shot
  • Eye-Level Medium-Wide shot
Framing shooting Exercise Reminder
  1. Shoot wide shot with wide angle.
  2. The rest ZOOM IN to get soft background.
  3. Refer to the examples provided or google references for GOOD composition.
  4. Avoid overexposed or underexposed (too bright or too dark).
  5. Do the shooting during day time.
  6. Shoot landscape format video, 5 seconds per shot.
  7. Edit with CAPTION (Mention the shot size), export video for submission.

Exercise 4:

To develop our editing skills further, we were given a task which required us to trim, add graphical elements and follow a storyboard.
