Requirement:
  • An animated infographic informing audience about given topic
  • (min 1.5 - max 3 mins long video)

I have personally experienced burnout in my academic and professional lives, where I pushed myself too hard and disregarded my own needs, resulting in feelings of tiredness, loss of inspiration, and decreased productivity. I found it difficult to concentrate on work I used to like, and I became increasingly angry and impatient with people. It took a toll on my mental and physical health, and I was only able to recover and reclaim my sense of balance and well-being after identifying the symptoms of burnout and taking measures to prioritize self-care.

We then started breaking down the screenplay that was given to us, noting the timing of each portion as well as what graphics might seem appropriate.

Jequllunz created a mood board because it is an effective tool in the creation of a motion graphic infographic since it aids in establishing the overall visual style and tone of the project. A mood board may assist to simplify and streamline the design process by gathering photos, color schemes, typography, and other design components that correspond with the desired aesthetic and messaging of the infographic.

A handful of our group members were charged with creating some vector elements in Adobe Illustrator. When the materials were finished, it was time to begin work on the final animation.

After gathering all of the necessary elements, I began working on my animations in After Effects. The majority of the animation entailed changing simple transformation characteristics such as position, rotation, and scale. I also added sound effects to give the video additional depth.
